Jane Liou is a 17 year old creative currently living in California. Deeply rooted in her ties to her hometown, Hong Kong, her work focuses on the role of places in evoking nostalgic emotions---how they have the power to both conjure and challenge the past.

Through her art, Jane strives to invite viewers to reflect on their own relationships with the spaces that shape their memories.

She is profoundly interested in exploring how the built environment affects human behavior and well-being, and aims to explore the intersection between architecture and art. Her work is nationally recognized by YoungArts and Scholastic Art and Writing.
